A Busy Week - Sunday April 13th 2025

Moved the compost bin on Monday and took down the bit of fence next to the shed. The sunny weather continues and we have a fine array of tulips out front. Mike and Judy popped round in the afternoon, they had been to see Chris Gavin. An AFD. Amy popped into work here for a couple of hours on Tuesday morning on her way to Belfast, coming back Wednesday evening. I went to the dentists for a check up. We then took the remains of the fence down the tip and popped into BnQ for some bedding plants. M was very exited as it was her first visit to the tip. In the afternoon I did my Southcote lock walk. I bumped into Bobby walking along the Kennet in the opposite direction. He's been doing lots of walking since his heart attack last year. James and the kids came round for tea in the evening. Another AFD. Did a ride out to Charter Alley with Kelvin, Stuart and Graham on Wednesday. Never been there before that I remember. A third AFD. Went swimming on Thursday morning and put some more 'adverts' on the wall.Cycled James' bike back and then walked home. It was first Thursday drinks in the evening in the Alehouse. Full turnout. Delightful toilets.

Had a band practice with Tony, Andy and Duncan on Friday then baby sat for James and Amy. They went up to London to see The Great Gatsby musical. M bought tickets as a secret Santa. Started emptying the shed on Saturday and walked over to no 81 to pick up the car. Did the sound for the Scarlet Vixens at RSAC in the evening. Didn't stay for the show. Just set up and packed away. Finished off emptying the shed on Sunday and did a spot of housework and admin.
