Tony came round for a practice on Monday afternoon and we did the Castle Tap open mic in the evening. We did a tribute to Marianne Faithful. Broken English, As Time Goes By, Working Class Hero and The Ballad Of Lucy Jordan. Fiona, Yvonne and Steve from down the street were in as were Danny and Alison. A good atmosphere and some new faces. On Tuesday I did a ride with Kelvin. Followed my old route to Slough as far as The Pineapple then back along route 4. M had been to the BRO but was developing a bit of cold when I got back. Went swimming on Wednesday morning but M didn't feel up to it. In the evening I did the Castle Tap folk session. Three alcohol related songs, One Scotch, One For My Baby and John Barleycorn. Quite busy to start with but by the end just the hardcore. Did the Southcote Lock walk on Thursday morning. A lot of flooding on the towpath opposite Waterloo Meadows and Elgar Rd. I decided to walk through it rather than turn back. It was up to the top of my boots in places.

Had a practice at Pirate for tribute night on Friday afternoon. I had to drop the guitar amp off back at RSAC after and helped set up for Club Velocity. On Saturday we popped round to no 81 for a spot of lunch then did the Tina Turner tribute night at RSAC in the evening. We did
A Fool In Love and
Sweet Rhode Island Red. Went well.
