Went to look at fancy sheds on Monday morning, recycled some batteries, cashed in some coins then picked up a Christmas tree. Jet washed the porch in the afternoon. First alcohol free day for a while. Put up the tree on Tuesday, did some present wrapping and applied for a tax refund. Another AFD. Popped over to no 81 on Wednesday to help James do a bit of shifting. Popped into Ralph's on the way back to pick up M's framed Christmas present. JAMO came round for tea later. They had been to watch Madeline singing in a concert at the nursery. On Thursday did the traditional Christmas ride out to the Black Horse at Checkendon.
Warren and Mary Ellen arrived, they're spending their first night at no 81. The Xmas shop arrived on Friday morning. In the evening I went up to London to see Karate at The Garage supported by Tangled Hair. Both really good trios. Just bass, drums and fairly clean sounding guitar. Good venue too but as usual a bit of a pain getting back as had to wait 45mins for a train. In the meantime M went over to no 81 for dinner and came back with Warren and Mary Ellen as they are staying with us until their Air BnB is ready. Kat and Ross are now staying at no 81. On Saturday Warren and Mary Ellen went into town to do some shopping with Amy and the kids and Kat and Ross. They then came back and went to the Air BnB. We went to Roger and Jean's party for a couple of hours. Got stuck into the Xmas prize crossword on Sunday. SET came over in the evening.
