Managed to pick my new reading glasses up from South Street on Monday morning. We were supposed to be having Madeline and Owen over in the afternoon but Owen had been throwing up over the weekend so they booked him into the docs. So we went over to no 81 to look after Madeline when James took him. They all came to ours for pizza later. Did the Castle Tap open mic with Tony after that. We did Someday Baby, Good Year For The Roses and Wind Cries Mary. On Tuesday I took JAMO to Heathrow for their flight to Toronto for Kat and Ross's wedding.Had a band practice for tribute night in the evening with Tony, Andy Coltman and Duncan Carpenter. We're doing I Wish It Could Be Christmas Every Day. Met up with Penno, Kevin and Adrienne on Wednesday evening at The Crown On The Bridge. Penno looks well. Hasn't lost her hair. She had chemo the next day and her last one on Boxing Day but that will probably be moved back a few days. KnA's house looks like its going through. They're moving to Overstrand just outside Cromer in Norfolk. We sat outside to minimise the risk of Penno picking up an infection as chemo buggers up your immune system. They had heaters but I hadn't really dressed for how cold it was so was freezing by the end. We went swimming on Thursday morning. In the afternoon I walked to Pirate Studios and back to pick my new reading glasses as I left them there on Tuesday night. Lost them twice in the first week. Meanwhile Father Christmas arrived early in Toronto.
On Friday I did a slight variation of my Theale, Pangbourne, Mapledurham ride to avoid flooding.
It was Kat and Ross's wedding on Saturday.
Did the sound at RSAC in the evening for the art auction and cabaret fund raiser. It was good fun. Ended up buying 3 pieces of art and won 2 tickets for the biscuit factory in the raffle.
Did the society walk on Sunday organised by Steve and Lindsey around Chaddleworth with lunch at the Ibex.
