Watched Spain beat France in the first Euro semifinal. Went swimming on Wednesday morning. England beat The Netherlands 2 1 to make it to the the Euros final in the evening. Harry Kane scored a dodgy penalty and Ollie Watkins got the second late on after going behind after about 10 mins. Did the annual URZ ride on Thursday with Stuart, Graham and Kelvin. It was meant to be 59 miles but ended being just over 70. Andy joined us for lunch at the Dundas Arms in Kintbury. We picked a good day weather wise. Good ride but a bit hilly in places. I was pooped by the end. Thought I'd be feeling the after effects of the ride on Friday but felt surprisingly OK apart from some soreness down below. Wandered into town and there was a Bastille day event going on in The Forbury which featured a mock medieval trial by combat for some reason.
