Instow - Sunday 16th February

After another fine breakfast cooked by Stuart we took the Tarka Trail the other way to Barnstable. Quite a nice walk with the wind behind us.
Saw lots of egrets.
When we first got there we were near a big retail park which wasn't very pleasant and it started chucking it down. It was quite nice by the river though.

We found a pub called the Golden Lion. Had a couple of pints of their own beer which was a very nice keg. Only about 3.2%. Had a couple and finished off Ms. No food so just crisps. Everyone got the bus back except Steve who decided to walk. Had a go in the hot tub which was up to 40 degrees but soon dropped to 34. It was a bit chilly when we got out.

Helen did haggis for our evening meal as she hadn't held her traditional Burns night this year. This did mean that the whisky came out a bit early.
Had a couple of games of timeline afterwards followed by come up.
Stayed up chatting to Fiona
