Today's walk was round Northam Burrows Country Park. This involved getting our favourite bus to Appledore.

There are some windsurfers out there somewhere |
We found a modern looking pub in Westword Ho! that did an excellent pint of Proper Job. I think it was called the Waterfront. Some got the bus straight back but the rest of decided to walk back to Appledore along the edge of the park.
This was better in that the wind was behind us but it was very boggy and there were streams to negotiate. The sun came out though giving a very nice light, not quite captured below.
Got a nice sunset snap on the way back.
I got the hot tub to myself when we got back.
June had prepare excellent curries for the evening meal. Made at home and frozen. Very tasty with naan breads and chapatis.
After dinner there was an outburst of spontaneous singing. It started with me, Dave Andy and Lucy, later joined by M and Fiona. Dave was alternating between bass and cajon.
We tried to do a few kajoo based songs like The Urban Spaceman.
Margaret went to bed about midnight followed by the others except Fiona who announced she'd got her second wind. I think we eventually finished with The Power Of Love about 2 30.
We were a bit concerned about the noise but Andy had said we were below Steve and Lindsey's room and they were away for the night. However we were actually below Andy and June's room and June wasn't too impressed.
