There's a faulty speaker at RSAC so I took it to Bob Noyes on Monday morning to see if he could fix it. As he lives in Tilehurst called in at no 81 for coffee. Tony popped round in the afternoon for a rehearsal. Still had a bit of a cough from covid. Bob phoned in the evening to say it will not be cost effective to fix the speaker. Me and Tony played the Castle Tap later. Did One Scotch One Bourbon One Beer, Nobody Knows You When You're Down And Out and I Need Your Love So Bad. Did my walk to Southcote Lock on Tuesday but extended it along the river to the weir pool. Made a will on Wednesday morning. Did my Theale, Pangbourne, Mapledurham ride in the afternoon. There were some guys doing the last bit on a tandem which I thought was quite ambitious as its mainly off road. Anyway they got a puncture so I gave them some self adhesive patches.Went swimming on Thursday morning. Got a missed call from Danny so phoned him back. He's going in to have kidney stones removed. James popped over on Friday afternoon with Madeline and Owen then we went back to there's for dinner.
Got to know that Sally's sister Anna has had a baby girl. Popped over to pick up the car on Saturday. URZ beat Fleetwood 2 0 in the cup. I didn't go. Only 3685 did. I organised the society walk on Sunday. The greenery of Tilehurst followed by lunch at The Victoria. James met us with Owen coming out of Lousehill Copse but the little lad seemed a bit overwhelmed with us all. Got to know Anna and Jack's baby is called Pheobe. Didn't realise Andy had had covid a few weeks back. Like Tony he seems to be still having problems.
