Went to see Andy on Monday. Spotted these outside the station.

M went to the denists in Oxford on Tuesday. I did a walk along the Kennet and Thames and back via Reading West Station the main purpose of which was to pick up some food bags from the library. Went via Brunswick St and the Foresters is definitely open. Just over 7 miles. Picked up some conkers in the courts off Bath Rd.

Went for a hilly ride out to Blue Tin farm on Wednesday with Kelvin and Stuart. Bumped into Mike there. About 30 miles. Went to see Henge at South Street in the evening. They pretend they're from another planet. Very enjoyable performance got better through the set and no tedious encore. Supported by this lot.
They played on the floor with the audience around them. Also very good. I had to ask how they got the sound to the PA. They have a mixer on board so send a stereo wireless signal. Had a couple of pints down the Hop Leaf with Steve after. Went swimming on Thursday. Had a band practice on Friday. We took Andy out for a pizza early evening. Got the bus into Newbury and went to Lusso's. About 5 mins walk. All went well. Think he really enjoyed it. Went to see URZ v Burton on Saturday. A bit of a dull 0 0 draw. There was another tennis ball protest which kind of messed up the first half as everyone knew it was coming on the 16th minute (we've had 16 points deducted). We were all supposed to wear black instead of team colours but it was a bit unfortunate that Burton were playing in black.
Heard later that on of the members of the band we are playing with on Sunday has covid. So they've pulled out. They were providing the PA as well. Charlie also has covid and Andy wore a mask on the bus on Friday so it's still lurking. Had a Cracking Up gig on Sunday afternoon. It was a charity event in Sonning Common village hall. We played well and went down well. Funniest gig moment. I snapped a string so went to get my strat that I use as a spare out of its case only to find my Roland SH101 in there. They raised £509. M did a society walk.
