This week has really seen a big change, everything is shutting down.
Up until last Friday we were still going out, we went to see Tommy Tiernan at the town hall with Bobby and Fiona. We were a bit unsure about it and probably would not have gone if it was just us.
Now all such places are shut as are the pubs and restaurants.
So since then we have had no contact with anyone except M went to John Lewis to see about some new kitchen cabinets. She also had her hair cut and a kitchen fitter came round.
We did a country walk on Monday and I've been out on my bike a couple of times.
We got our Ocado shop OK on Friday including some toilet roll which has been scarce. They closed the website but it seems to be back up again.
We Skyped James and Amy and Tom and Sally last night which was good fun.
Today we went for a walk down the Kennet to the Thames mouth and then over the horseshoe bridge and back under the station. Very quiet in the Oracle but quite a few people in town. Saw quite a few Deliveroo riders out and about. Some of the restaurants and coffee shops seem to be open for takeaways.
We saw Ben and Amy and their kids near the horseshoe bridge on their bikes. They had been to Mapledurham. We chatted from a respectable distance. Then saw Kelvin going out for a ride.
Came back and I made some pasta.
New measures announced about help for the most medically vulnerable.
James and Amy phoned as it's Mother's Day. Tom had sent a card.
