Took Owen into town on Monday afternoon. It was sunny so I was beshorted but it was quite cold and very windy. Warren and Mary Ellen arrived on Tuesday morning in time to take Madeline to nursery. They are staying at the same AirBnB as last time. I went to the hygenist. We removed the last bits of furniture from the flat as its about to go on the market. Did my ride out down the Kennet and back via Hardwick Stud on Wednesday. Spotted my first goslings of the year.The cycle path was closed as they're resurfacing it. I tried to get through but they wouldn't let me.The Warren was also closed but they did let me through.

The Castle Street barbers has shut so after a bit of canvassing I tried the London Street barbers on Monday morning. Did a good job. James and Amy got the results of the survey for the house in Church End Lane. No major issues. Popped round to the flat on Tuesday morning as the decorators have finished. They've done a good job. M went to check out Hinwick Hall with Anne. It's where her hen do is going to happen. She came back for tea and is very impressed with the place. URZ beat Bristol Rovers 2 0 away. Went round to the flat on Wednesday to clear out the rest of the stuff except a few things James and Amy want. Put a few things on Free Cycle, kept the odd item and took the rest down the tip. Great night at the Face Bar in the evening with Kelvin. First up were Jimmy The Dog, a blues duo. One on guitar the other on harmonica and bass drum. Very entertaining. These were followed by the Hawkmen. I guess you'd call them RnB. Female vocal, double bass, drums and an excellent guitarist. A bit like Imelda May maybe. Had a pint in the Nags afterwards and bumped into Tom's mate Adam from Matinee. Tom had mentioned he was a drummer so asked him if he'd be interested in joining up with me and Tony. We've exchanged phone numbers. Let's see where it goes. Bit of a lazy day on Thursday. Sorted out a few issues with the flat and did some admin. Did my 5 hills ride on Friday. There's still some flooding out that way. Couldn't get to the A4 down the road as there was a power cable down. Had to back track a bit and go down the parallel footpath. Lazyish day on Saturday. JAMO were out most of the day. M was working on her corrections and I fid some guitar playing. URZ drew away 2 2 with the Tykes. They are not mathematically safe yet but more or less are. If Cheltenham win there last 4 games and we lose our last 2 they will have the same number of points as us but at the moment our goal difference is 23 more than there's. Similar day on Sunday.

I got up about 5am on Tuesday to go to the loo and the world fell out of my bottom. The day continued like that and I felt sick but wasn't. M later came down with the same thing so we spent the rest of the day in bed unable to eat or drink anything but water. Sally had had something similar the day before. Felt better on Wednesday morning but not 100%. However Amy had been sick overnight so I did a fair bit of Owen duty. Found out that Tom now has the bug as do Fiona, Izzy and Harry. People came to empty the flat. The decoration is looking good. Heard from Zac that we have a drummer for the next tribute night. Walked into town with Owen and M on Thursday morning she was going to the dentists in Oxford. Went to first Thursday drinks in Fox and Hounds in the evening. Dave B gave us all a coaster for the teams we support made on his 3D printer. Woke up on Friday morning to find that James now has the bug so did a fair bit of child care. Took Owen out in the morning then played in the garden.

Lazy day Monday. Helped M with her PhD corrections. The tenants moved out of our flat in Berkeley Court last week as we're going to sell it so M went round to meet someone about clearing out the furniture and someone to do some decorating. Owen was being very noisey. More PhD corrections on Tuesday. I popped down to RSAC in the afternoon to test out the PA as there had been a problem at the Sunday Alternative but it all seemed to be working fine. Another lazy day on Wednesday. Popped into town in the morning with Owen to buy some provisions. Cooked a birthday steak dinner. Got a bottle of Caol Ila from JnA, a couple of sweatshirts from M and 72 plectrums from Tom. Helped with some more PhD corrections on Thursday and took Owen to the park. I think he liked the swings. Met JR and some of his mates in Blue Collar in the evening then went to the Turtle. Possibly had one too many so a slow start on Friday. Went to see URZ beat Northampton 1 0. In the evening popped down to the Retreat early doors to see the exellent Phil Braithwaite band. It was part of The Village Easter Featival. Popped down again on Saturday lunchtime to see The Thomas Hepple band with Penno's son Jack on drums. They were also excellent. SET came round on Easter Sunday and we opened up the pizza oven. They brought me a couple of great presents from their travels. A Thornbridge T-shirt and  a Goole calendar featuring pictures of Edith including this one outside 90 Jackson Street.Quietish day on Monday. JAMO were out most of the day. Had a wedding call with Anne and Wynn in the evening.

Quiet day on Monday. Fixed the upstairs toilet which had a busted flush. Took Owen into town on Tuesday morning then drove over to Blackheath to Polly sit. Keith and Fiona were meant to be doing it but can't now because of Fiona's broken arm. M is coming tomorrow by train. Had a pint in the Green Godess and picked up some food from MnS. Poppy seemed pleased to see me.
