Tony came round for a rehearsal on Monday afternoon. In the evening we did the Castle Tap open mic. Quite a few in but a lot left before the end. We did Everything Is Broken, Losing My Religion and First We Take Manhatten.
Quiet day on Tuesday but did book all the internal flights in Canada and car hire on PEI. Went swimming on Wednesday morning. It was the warmest day of the year so far, quite sunny, so in the afternoon I walked to Milkmaids Bridge and back in shorts and a t-shirt. Did the Castle Tap folk session in the evening. Played Depreston and Everything Is Broken. Needed to pop into town on Thursday so walked to the Kennet mouth and round the Thames to get some exercise. Helped out with the sound at RSAC on Friday evening. Alex did most of the knob twiddling. It was one of Sid's In Malcolm We Trust gigs. Rat Boy's Magic Show, The New Puritans, Baby Maker and The Dazed Minded. On Saturday drove up to Sheffield for Ian and Fran's 10th anniversary of moving to Sheffield party. Good do but they over catered slightly although I did my best with the beer. Drove back Sunday.
